NaNa's cousin

NaNa's cousin Enzo is glad to be a big brother of Neona's. He enjoys playing with her. He took her for a stroller walk, showed her around and took good care of her. Enzo even bought a new toy for Neona with his own "Chinese New Year red envelope money." This photo was taken in front of a restaurant nearby the grandparents' house in Taichung.

Neona takes a bottle

All of you probably remember: Neona didn't take a bottle at all as a newborn and an infant. It was challenging for us. I can't believe now she takes bottles, after learning how to use sip cups and straws. Whenever our neighbor's baby is around, Neona takes over her bottle and starts to drink from it. Well, finally she takes a bottle now (even though it's a bit too late). Posted by Picasa

Visit our old house

We visited my parents in Taichung last weekend. We went back to Wu-Fong Village where I lived in from 1 to 10 years old.

Taking Neona and Meng-Yu back there and seeing it for the first time after 24 years meant a lot to me. Things around the house are very different from years ago, but I am glad this old house is still there. This town was also severely damaged by the earthquake 6 years ago. Some of the buildings in our old community collapsed.

The old school I went to was rebuilt too. I told Neona that this was the school Mommy went to. We took a picture together.
